Hello Everyone!! My first blog post – so exciting! Here is a Wednesday What-Not on my latest obsession. BRILLIANT BLUE!
I have been crushing real hard on bright blue lately. It is in my future to rock those blue jeans; I can see myself in them already! I am the lucky owner of the Pretty Cool Watch, thanks to my brother, who knows how much I love to wear blue and orange together in honor of my alma mater, Syracuse University. And if you wanted to wrap up the lovely poster of the oh so cool city of Cambridge, MA to give to your oh so cool friend, then our new Geisha Garden wrap, making its debut in our Everyday 2012 catalog, could not be more perfect!
Welcome to our first installment of Wednesday What-Nots! This week I’ve decided to focus on Back to School. It’s hard to believe it’s that time again! Sad to say good-bye to summer, but what creative-type doesn’t get excited about a new notebook (or 2), fun new pens, or new clothes?! Though I haven’t had a specific need for the back-to-school hoopla for several years now, this is a band-wagon that I don’t mind jumping on! Check out my funtastic finds…
Happy Monday! I hope everyone here in the east managed to get through the wrath of Irene who came in and wrecked our weekend bringing lots and lots of rain and mess. Hopefully those of you still in the dark will get back on the grid soon.
After 2 days of rain and darkness here I just wanted to share my favorite shot from our “in the works” Everyday 2012 catalog. It’s such a happy and sunny picture. I just love how the light dances off the always cheery gerbera daisies (my fave)!
This shot features some of the great new earth friendly ribbons and bows we are adding to our line for 2012. These fun additions are made from cotton fibers and printed with soy based inks. The sublime colors and natural feel make them the perfect finish to a thoughtfully wrapped gift. These ties and bows are biodegradable, compostable and just plain fabulous! Mother nature would surely agree!
Be on the lookout for the release of our new Everyday 2012 catalog this winter. (ugh I had to say the word!) In the meantime we will continue to throw out a few sneaky peeks of all the great designs and products which will be available soon. Enjoy!
So I just ordered 100 cupcakes for my wedding reception…I”m so excited, I can almost taste the buttercream frosting now! I’ll admit that opting for a cupcake tower in lieu of the traditional 4-tier wedding cake is a little unorthodox, but I ADORE cupcakes! Who can resist a personally sized, individually decorated tiny little cake? Nobody in this studio, I can assure you 😉
We love enjoying an afternoon cupcake here and it’s not uncommon that one of us brings in some home baked goodies to share. Okay, so maybe sometimes we take the easy road and satisfy our sweet tooth with something store bought, but nothing compares to a batch made from scratch. Especially because half the fun of baking cupcakes at home is getting to use TGWC’s printed baking cups!
But it’s August here in the Boston area, and the thought of turning on the oven is enough to give me heat exhaustion. So what does one do with our adorable printed baking cups? They can’t just hide in the cupboard until the first frost, they need to be seen and enjoyed! It is their sole purpose in life, after all. Well, they are in luck because I believe that there’s at least a few ways to use everything (aside from its intended purpose). So…today I want to share with you a fun and easy project that will give new meaning to your baking cups’ life this summer:
Well here it is the first official blog post! We set up this blog with the intent to share a little bit about the creative studio behind all the great TGWC products and designs. We hope through the coming posts you get to know a little about us and in turn we learn a little about you. So please feel free to comment and share. Let us know how we are doing! We have big dreams for this blog so please check back regularly, we promise not to disappoint!
