Fall has really started to settle in here. The nights are cool, days are short and fall decorating has begun. Great piles of perfect pumpkins are front and center at every farm stand, grocery store and home improvement. As much as I see fall as a mean segway into my least favorite time…WINTER… I do admit I love to see a dec’d out entry that even Martha would consider a “good thing”.
Over the last week or so I see that many have caught this fall decorating bug. Pinterest has been stocked with picts of fantastic decorating ideas especially those of falls favorite staple, the great pumpkin! There are so many ways to decorate with pumpkins. Here’s a peek at some of the best!
Well it’s almost here! We just finished up all our proofing and sent The Gift Wrap Company’s Everyday 2013 catalog to press! Before you know it you will be perusing the glossy pages with, I hope, as much excitement as we have over our latest collection!
I thought I would share a little sneak peek to entice and excite! If you don’t receive our catalogs be sure to contact your sales represetative or call our customer service team at 1.800.443.4429 to get on the mailing list or visit us on-line at www.giftwrapcompany.com
I love that so much was handmade, and one of a kind, the place smelled of cinnamon and spice -and they were having an open house with cider, beer, wine and goodies!
When you are done shopping they wrap your package up in a sweet bag with the tissue fluffed up just right. What more could you ask for?
I am definitely feeling the halloween spirit now. Thanks Farmstead!
The Paper Store is a MA based gift store with a whole lot more! A perfect place to find a gift, book or just poke around in. Always a welcoming and helpful staff and always promises to deliver a “must get this” item which is just perfect for “so and so”…. you know what I mean!
So although I did not find the NE Patriots temporary tattoos I went in there seeking, I was pleasantly surprised to find this well stocked & great looking Pepperpot display! Thanks PS!
It’s NY Fashion Week ladies….. can I get a whoot whooot!?!
I am no fashionista, I like to look, but prefer jeans and a comfy cardigan on any given day!
To me fashion week is sort of my check list, not for what needs to be in my closet next season, but what needs to be in TGWC catalog!
We like to think of our products as accessories… what every posh party girl is wrapping with this year…. so it is important (and fun) to be on top of the trends, follow what is hot and not and try to disect from all the over stimuli what will stick! What colors, what icons, what finishes… no matter what industry you’re in, they all relate to each other.
So I present you … live from our little studio in Northborough MA…. a sneak peek at S/S13 if TGWC were invited to NYFW!
Before heading back from NYC last week I had a few minutes to kill before my train so I poked around in the Macy’s iconic flagship store. Great old department store, but, right now, under renovation and as always so busy busy! I did manage to wrestle my way through the crowds and was delighted to come across this great display of French Bull® products.
The vivid color and bold designs French Bull is famous for were crowd stopping and everything so great together on display.
We are happy to report (and you will be psyched to see) a new selection of French Bull® items will be released by The Gift Wrap Company for 2013. Due for release in January, our new additions of gift wrap and bags promise to possess the same much loved French Bull© pop and punch!
Here is a little sneak peek of what is to come….. watch out! It’s coming!
(available January 2013)
I have recently discovered Fab.com.
This online sale site may be one on way too many which I receive emails from multiple times a day, but this one is different. They actually have very cool stuff you actually want. Now I didn’t say stuff you actually NEED, but interesting, fun finds, unique gifts, interesting home decor items and artistic bits and bobs. In addition it is well laid out, easy to navigate and OMG did you see the use of the heart as the period? Too cute and also very cleaver.
I will admit. I have bought up a few frivolous items and become a bit obsessed with what’s coming next, but I dont feel so bad because Fab.com has a good method, a good heart (no pun intended) and a fab tag line which proves they are a company you can feel good about doing business with.
Fab also does some really great branding. Every box comes in with cute stickers and a thank-you card inside – really thoughtful and all well designed. It’s so great when companies go that extra mile to make it special and drive home the passion they have for their brand.
So check it out the site is worth exploring, smile a little, shop a little… your designed to!
